ESTERHAZY LOCATION FEATURE

Our Esterhazy facility holds a lot of Bit Service history. We have been operating out of our Esterhazy location since 1965 and have been serving the longest-running potash mines in Saskatchewan out of this facility. In our Esterhazy warehouse, we help support local potash mines–having such an accessible and functional space means our potash mining partners do not have to travel far for services.
As a small-purpose built location, the Esterhazy site is rather understated but is home to a highly professional staff of six thoroughly-trained personnel—all from small-town backgrounds, with four employees being from the immediate area. Our attention to detail and the tight-knit team make Esterhazy an extremely productive facility.
Our B-32 bit is manufactured at our Esterhazy site, which is often used in the surrounding area potash mines for efficient extraction.
The miner bit manufacturing process is specific to our customers’ needs, depending on the type of ore they need to process. Our smaller facility is made efficient by our assembly line process to ensure we use our Esterhazy location to its fullest potential. To aid in the production process, we have installed the first-ever robot for the company in our Esterhazy location. (And yes, we named him Reggie). Our Esterhazy facility is well versed in the happenings in and around the small town. Having our feet on the ground at a local level means that we can have great communication with the people we work with and establish stronger personal connections.
Because our facility is so close to the mines, Bit Service can have our products required to the mine site within the hour. With our closest mine being five minutes away and the furthest mine being 40 miles away, it feels great to provide service to our partners with ease and speed. The four mines in the area are quite beneficial to the community in small-town Esterhazy. As the Potash Capital of the world, there is an influx of people travelling to the small town and benefiting the local economy and community.
The team in Esterhazy is extremely proactive and dedicated to meeting customer goals and demands. Over time, this team has developed and implemented improvements and tweaks to our production processes, which have resulted in increased output and productivity. Additionally, many on our reliable Esterhazy team has been with us for a long time.
