Meet our President and CEO, Scott Bahr

At Bit Service, we have over 50 years of experience in the industries of mining, construction, and material handling. We care about our customers and are committed to providing the best possible experience to everybody we meet. However, we wouldn’t be the company we are today without the people who make it happen. That’s why we’re introducing you to Scott Bahr, our President and CEO. We talked to Scott about his role in and out of the workplace, and this is what he had to say.

Question: How long have you been at Bit Service?

Answer: 19 years.

Q: What’s your official title at Bit Service?

A: President and CEO.

A: Problem-solving and the wide variety of people in the industry.

A: Opportunities, the pace of life, four actual seasons—although one of these can be pretty long (we have an inkling he’s talking about winter).

Q: What’s your favourite movie?

A: I definitely would say for the longest time it would have been The Matrix trilogy, it was quite groundbreaking for its time.

A: I love to spend tons of time researching topics on YouTube.

Q: What’s your favourite podcast?

A: Spike’s Car Radio

A: I like the classic pairing of meat and vegetables.

We hope you have something in common with Scott—and if you’re ever looking to work alongside Bit Service, you can be sure he’ll be there to make sure all your dreams come true. To learn more about the people behind Bit Service, keep following our blog for more discussions with staff.
